A few shots from a factory visit. Thought this warning sign was quite funny. Part Skeletor, part Hannibal Lector/ Jason from Hallowe’en. The unfolded cardboard box as sofa was a cunning idea, positioned outside the canteen. Oh, those Turks, as Eartha Kitt would say.

I’m not really a car person – I don’t even drive. I went for a spin this afternoon with friend in his lovingly restored Citröen 1939 11BL (I’m sure that’s what he said the model was.) It was beautiful. He’d refurbished the car all by himself – he owns another vintage car in the most incredible shade of navy. The phrase “sex on wheels” really made sense. All those big curves, shiny white paintwork, the gleaming metal, the taupe leather interior… Sexy.

Saw these lights in a covered market in Williamsburg, Brooklyn a while back. I like the random, haphazard nature. Like a junk box chandelier or a post-apocalyptic mobile that would give a baby nightmares.

Hmmmph, loving this blog at the moment – Styling and Salvage.

Very clever man that Rupert Blanchard. Does some lovely things with bits and bobs. Beautiful. Very good eye. Click on the link in the right hand column.
